Acacia loses in court to Microsoft
 

Microsoft won a patent victory this week against Acacia, a company accused of being particularly aggressive in its litigation against major companies. The company files patents and then pursues them in court but had not gotten as far as a jury trial with any suits until now. The jury did not rule in favor of the patent company.

haha well it is kind of ironic as well. Specially since MS has been aquiring even more patents than acacia.

I remember getting their nice bullshit packet in the mail a few years back, I took a piss on it

lol good I hope it crashes to the ground. Maybe the stockholders will realise buying patents and trying to sue for infringement isn't a viable business plan.


I still remember calling these ass fucks up and asking them what domain I was infringing their patent with. I laughed my ass off when the domain they gave had never even been a website, it was only a parked page.

They tried to tell me they had lots of people doing research looking for patent infringers. I'm sure they meant to say they got lists from a few adult companies. :1orglaugh
