Wordpress MU Question regarding multiple domains

Can you install wordpress MU from one domain and have it control blogs across multiple domains.

Example:
install on joesblognetwork.com

use MU on that domain to run

joespornblog.com
joesvideoblog.com
etc.

I see where you can set it up to run blogs on multiple subdomains off of one main domain, but can't find out if you can run it across multiple top levels.

Thanks

I looked into it a while back, but seemed like it was more trouble than it's worth. If you are wanting to build a bunch of blogs IMO just use Blogs Organizer

You can then admin all the blogs from one spot. With WPmu you will have to log into every blog separate to do updates. With BO you can even run blogs on other servers.

Well the thing I love about wordpress are the plug ins and widgets. They do make life a bit easier. But then I'm running blogs that are individualized, and not templated across the board. The posts are a bit more high quality if you will. Not just splogs.
