European Ski Resorts Recommendations please
It's time to plan a wintersports vacation for myself and the family.....
I've been to almost everywhere in Austria, a few places in Switzerland and in Spain......I hate the French....though I know their ski resorts are amongst the best in Europe......Italy is supposed to be good and is right now on the top of my list........ Anyone got some experience and recommendations of places to go? I'm looking for a place with perfect amenities for child care, GOOD and fine dining, ski classes for kids, enough slopes to keep us entertained for at least 2 weeks without having to drive for hours before going up the mountains. Good hotels with decent health spa gimme, gimme, gimme, please........thank you! :thumbsup |
I'm all for Austria, I care for apres ski about as much as for skiing itself... :)
I've heard good things about Andorra. As for Italy: heard that food is excellent, slopes are great, but no one speaks english and there's no decent apres ski. |

I love Austria but feel like trying something else for a change, I also heard raves about Andorra.....but I know food isn't going to be great.....and I'm not sure about the crowds that go to Andorra.... Austria is defenitely the safest bet...as I know what to get and where to get the best......it's not easy to pick a vacation destination......sometimes I wish I couldn't afford to go......uhh....sorry that's not true :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:error |
I was in Slovakia a couple of years ago and had a great time!
Haven't even had ski with me but drank about 157 beers and 3 gallons of booze with friends there, also experienced one of the first (and a very brief one) sexual encounters in my life. :) It's cheap and you may even get some service as a guy from abroad.. |
