Means they either forgot to pay there bill or they havent restarted there system since the new license was added. did you notify them before coming herE?

StuartD 11-15-2007 07:08 AM

Happens a lot with various programs using NATS.
Sometimes it's a glitch, sometimes it means they forgot their payment.... it's usually fixed pretty quick.

They might just need to restart Apache after their license was updated after paying the bill.

ro8in 11-15-2007 07:56 AM

Forget to pay the bill I guess.. but....

Nats disables only the admin area for the first 2 months.. If you didnt pay the bill for another month then the webmaster area gets disabled too.. Means they must be really behind with paying if webmasters start to get this msg.

Probally they forget to reboot apache..

Altough they should be having this message already a couple of months in their admin tho

Happened to us a few times and it was NOT for being late on the bill. One of the downsides of not buying NATS outright I guess. However, it does make a program look bad IMHO because it looks like they didn't pay their bill.

HA! Don't trick yourself into believing that buying it outright will solve this problem..

We've owned our copy for over 3 years and we STILL get license errors from time to time in the admin area..

Seems NATS doesn't give you a permanent license when you BUY the program, they have to update the license every 2 or 3 months, and we still have to do the restart bullshit...
