I remember it quite well . . . was in class when they announced it over the PA. I remember one of my classmates (some girl) started crying because it was her birthday.

I was in my 1st grade classroom when it happened. My Teacher started crying and it was the first time I saw an adult cry. I didn't understand why or what was going on.
