Police said they suspected the car was stolen to order by a special gang for sale in Kazakhstan or Ukraine.

The Maybach has been adopted as the ultimate status symbol by Russia's super-rich. There are only a few dozen in Russia and this was the first case of one being stolen, the daily said.

Shouldn't be too hard to track down. It's kind of like stealing high end art, you have to keep it in your basement or a safe.

Just a wild guess, but I am pretty sure they know what they are doing lol. And I am pretty sure it's unlikely they will be crossing the border while driving it. I think it's a bit more likely that it will go across through some dodgy border guards they know in a semi-trailer to the destination countries mentioned in the article.

In the UK we have a think called "TRACKER" which you add to your vehicle. This way it can be found very quickly and usually is.

tracking devices can be disabled
feel bad for the guy...im sure it is insured though
also...i highly doubt the people stealing it care...whoever orders that kind of car stolen from someone with that kind of money in Russia...doesnt give a flying fuck what the other person thinks..nor worries about retaliation

when stealing from someone shady..make sure you are more shady then them..lol

anyway i do feel bad.stealing is not good
