What are some words you constantly mispell?

For me it's restaurant. I'd say 99% of the time I fuck it up, and have to go look it up at dictionary.com. Then I'll work on memorizing it, even phonetically and 3 days later need to spell it again and bam! I mess it up again.:disgust

For some reason I just can't retain that word...LOL And the funny thing is I've always been a great speller. In 7th grade, they did some testing and I was reading and spelling at a college level however I sucked at math. But there are some words that just mess with my head.

Restaurant and then my all time fuck up. "Weird". Seriously fuck that teacher that said I before E except after C or some crap, brainwashing my fragile mind.

Then again not long ago I spent like 20 minutes trying to figure out in my head how to spell dresser, like the time I forgot how to spell who.

OH man of course...take any word and think about it long enough and it no longer makes sense. You can't spell it, the definition doesn't seem to apply, and you think to yourself...that can't be the right word it just doesn't make sense.

Milk. For some reason it always ends up spelling milf. I've hand coded too many porn sites for far too long.

Seems like 90% of the people here incorrectly use "loose" instead of "lose", drives me nuts.

Yeah and their or there instead of they're.

Now I know the difference between those words, however when I'm typing fast like in a drive by posting on a message board, I have mistyped there for they're.

When I see these kinds of things, I tend to pass it off unless it occurs quite often in the post.

Like you will see someone post something along the lines of, "I was out with this looser there a singer for a rock band who signs up for every battle of the band contest they can find, and they always loose."

Then I know they just don't get it.

WinstonTriplexcash 11-13-2007 11:59 PM

Necessary for sure.

Definitely, for some reason.. I always throw in some e's instead of I's.

And I typo it's/its 50% of the time either way.

Then there's a bunch of words I can never get... aficionado, etc.
