Stupid wind storms again!
 

I was all ready to set down to a whole day on Monday of "before show catch-up" when I woke up at 4am to my power going out. It didn't come back on until 11pm, but I don't feel quite so bad because some people around BC are still without power.

So... what did I miss? Any dramas?

I was out running in that wind at 11:00AM.

Wasn't _THAT_ bad, but at some points running up hill in to the wind was basically like standing still. Lots of work. :(

Good for you! I saw a few dog walkers out early yesterday morning, but not as many as usual. :)

I don't mind the wind so much, but the biting cold is getting to me.

After Costa Rica, where it was always sunny and warm when I ran, it takes a bit of getting used to Van again.

I came back in July and it rained for 2 months. :(

Yeah we never did get a proper summer this year. I'm still a bit upset about that. I'm making up for it by heading to Mexico after the LA show :)

Yeah I feel a little ripped off. I was looking forward to the beautiful Vancouver summers. That's why I came back in July.

Its getting windy here today in Baja.

I live in Vancouver, BC, Canada. For a vacation I'm heading down to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. So that's the BC I meant :)

I definitely don't miss that part of living on Beach Ave.... being right along the ocean there, I thought some of those winds were going to take the entire apartment building out of the ground!

Yeah, I've secured a condo on the beach for two weeks, so it should be quite enjoyable :)
