Studio Monitors- input please

I'm looking at the Behringer TRUTH series, leaning toward something powered, any suggestions? Thanks.

Ive got the Truth 2031As - they are perfect for a small (12x24) studio - and exceptionally clean

I've been reading about 'response' and it seems all the bass claims are

1. Phoney
2. Irrelivent

...because you want a flat response, and flat doesn't sound very good. The example I am refering to is the Yamaha NS-10... very popular, shitty sounding speaker. Appearently the trick is knowing your speakers... I've heard the Behringer hooked up to turntables and the bass was great... this makes me think that I will get them, but I'll have to be carefull with the fact that they 'over respond' to bass.
