Chavez is a tyrant and he is tightening his grip on power. He is going to turn Venezeula into Cuba but with oil. US celebrities and regular Americans who sympathize with him are the ones who need to wake up.

Erecting a monument to Che Guevera as Chavez did is an obvious sign that something is wrong with the guy.

Did you know that the guy that Chavez appointed vice-president (Jorge Rodriguez) right now here was the president of the National Electoral Council for the past elections? ( I wonder how you would react if Cheney was president of the US electoral council or whatever you have in the US.)

Do you know that the phone company (CANTV) that is responsible for the transmission of electoral results has been nationalized and is now in control of the government?

Did you know Chavez announced last week that he was going to step down in the year 2031?

Does the media you get your info from tell you this?

This is how the "pacifist revolutionaries" treat the students that oppose the new constitution. Armed chavistas to the left of the picture.
