I just dont get it
 

Thinking back to the Scotish Airport attack, The guys that tried to drive the van through the airport window were obiviously trying to hurt people, one of the guys from the van was badly burnt and taken to hospital, This is what I really dont get, why should we even bother to treat somebody in our hospitals when they have clearly tried to hurt innocent ariline passengers. The guy died eventually from his burns anyway, I say leave the guy to die in pain he was the one who treid to hurt other people. The only reason to keep somebody like this alive is to get information from him, but once you have it why do we still have to waste money on keeping guys like this alive, they dont deserve to even be treated for pain relief or the luxury of a prison cell.
What are your thoughts on this?

I felt the same way when that attack happened, but, if we didnt treat him, we would be as bad as he is. Its about human rights, and someone who is badly injured has a basic right to treatment, as sick as that makes us.

I admit it leaves a nasty taste in my mouth to see my tax money spent on his treatment (im British) but that is just something that we morally have to do.

The Docs and nurses dont look at who they are treating, they just get on with it - and rightly so.

They could easily become judge, jury and executioner in many cases if they didnt.....

Ok I aggree to the docters and nurses not being judge and jury but just maybe if we showed people that do this kind of thing, that they are not gonna get any treatment when it all goes wrong, they might think twice about doing it in the first place, They dont seem to care about human rights or who they are gonna hurt so why should we care about them.

If someone's trying to kill me and they fuck themselves up instead, I'll happily curb stop them so they don't hurt anymore, but damned if I'm gonna put iodine on their wounds.

When that guy got burnt the policeman went over to try and help him and what did the guy do in return he tried fighting with the policeman, If I was put into that situation I would have just left him to die in agony.
