I can't recall ever seeing an atm like that no. Seen it in other countries like Mexico but never in Canada.

jaysmoke 11-10-2007 04:43 PM

Yes CIBC banks in the Toronto area do have the mighty US dollar (lmao) in them.

Many CIBC machines dispence USD. They're usually marked and in areas where there's many machines (3 or more).

directfiesta 11-10-2007 06:03 PM

Most ATM in Canada have replaced the US dispensing by Euro .... :winkwink:

VeriSexy 11-10-2007 10:25 PM

Awesome! I'm going to check a few cibc locations. Thanks!

Simon_Spicecash 11-10-2007 11:39 PM

Wow lots more montrealers here than I ever thought!

RawAlex 11-11-2007 12:24 AM

Royal bank downtown on St Catherine, Royal Bank Place Vertu in St Laurent both have machines with US money in them.

However, a warning: if you are pulling US money from a US based account, they may convert it and then convert it back. It isn't clear that they actually pull it as US.

Simon_Spicecash 11-11-2007 01:10 AM

Ya now that it was mentioned I think I took out USD from the RBC at Place Vertu one time.

Find one of these machines, and pull $100 out, and see what epass thinks of it. Remember to deduct ATM fees and the standard EPASS discount.

I tried two different CIBC atm machines that give out US currency... but it does not give me an option to select USD for some reason with the epass card
