tgp/mgp sales and convertion ratio
 

hello to all GfY'ers,
i've got a particular question - it's about average ratio in site's traffic / sales :)

all mgp/tgp sale stats will be helpful :) i know it depends on se traffic and plenty of more things and in the same time i'm interested in how much sales a month you're doing for let's say for i.e. 100k teen traffic?

100 sales if you doing 100K uniques/day...

1:1000 ratio is pretty good...

and where did he say he's sending 100k traffic daily to sponsors?

I would say with 100k in traffic you will be lucky to do 40 sales in a day.

my question: is it possible to get let say 5 su a day from 100k teen mgp/tgp or... it's hard/easy as pie... it isn't possible at all? :D

TGP / MGP traffic is mostly looking for free stuff without providing any info or the least possible..lol email..etc..

That's because you're asking on the wrong board.

It's possible.

There are a ton of variables that come into play.

Is any of that 100K traffic from a search engine?
How much of it is CJ how much of it is bookmark?
Sponsor A might convert 1:700
Sponsor B might convert 1:4000
Sponsor galleries for more money now
Regular galleries to add variety build traffic
TGP layout ads/content
etc..

This list can go on and on. There is no guarantee on a set number of sales generated by anything. I wish there was then all of our jobs would be easier.

Keep in mind that traffic to gallery and traffic to a tour are two completely different things. Not to even consider that not all sponsors count the incoming traffic the same:

-RAWS/UNIQUES
-2ND PAGE OR JOIN
-QUALIFIED HITS

Then factor the things that kenny mentioned determining the source and quality of traffic.


It's much easier to know from actual results instead of guessing based off of others, since there are so many variables involved.

Here's how I would break it down, and it's assumptions about averages I've seen.

100k daily TGP *might* have 250% productivity, so those daily visitors will see 250k galleries before leaving.

A TGP gallery *might* average a 2% CTR (Click Through Rate) so those 250k views will lead to around 5000 sponsor hits.

If your sponsors average 1:1000 (this varies WIDELY) you'd average 5 sales a day.
