First time i had ever seen that site and one of my members had posted his password on there.

So i called the owner of the site to have a chat with him, what an asshole, then 60 mins later he has his phone number disconnected.

When it is provided by the sponsors - obviously we have a bunch of newbies in this thread - heres a little history lesson for ya - and maybe you might learn a little about the biz to your advantage :thumbsup

password sites that you see out there are rarely real - in fact most are run by sponsors - this is one of the rare ones left over from the past where sponsors give passwords and urls to "special sections" of their paysites with the hope of generating extra sales from the freeloaders

Now - go from there and maybe you can figure out your own "niche" of this biz to work in - and it would really be to your benefit to learn a business before you go around trying to preach about it when it just makes you look stupid

The owner of UP is fairly well loved or hated - but it's universally agreed his traffic is good.

Here's what you do: When a surfer comes to your site via UP: you let them into your members area for 10 - 15 minutes, then cancel the account.
They want more, they have to re-signup :)
