*** SEO tip that works ***

I started this experiment almost a year ago. Then out of sudden it started showing up results! This site is appearing on #1 page of Google for highly competitive terms. Looks like the site needs more links to ensure the position, though it's still bouncing from #1 page to the top of #3 page.

Feel free add your site to www.0-dix.com with link text "Free Porn" and description (title tag) "Porn".

Code:

<a title="porn" href="http://www.0-dix.com/">Free Porn</a>

Google PR5 in prediction! I'm aware that PR predictors are not so accurate, and PR is not so important, but what do you think would rate better, PR2 or PR5? :)

http://www.iwebtool.com/pagerank_prediction

http://www.sweetlatin.com/nettrust/pr-prediction.jpg

I checked my stats and only around 10% of the traffic is leaving the site (banners and tours), which means 90% of the traffic are going to the sites listed. In the last couple of days the traffic started to have some surprising peaks (due to the ranked position).

Since Google is very slow in crawling inbound links, I'll use Yahoo Explorer. Yahoo is showing 17,900 inbound links so far. Too bad it's taking a while for Google to show all the links.

I hope this blog directory (though it has a funny and unusual name) would help your Search Engine traffic grow.

Oh, and I forgot to say: Good luck! :thumbsup

Sounds good, I'll add some links later tonight

17900 backlinks is certainly nice, but for trophy terms you'd need at least 5 times more. I'd kinda prefer the long tail approach since it's all about #1-3 on the first page.

Great anyway, 17.9k is something you can work with.

Hey -- I click on all your advertisements and signed up for every program! What was this thread about again?

yahoo-xxx-girls.com 11-10-2007 01:04 AM

nettrust please read !

nettrust,

Where should I start... first there is no benefit in your code:

"<a title="porn" href="http://www.0-dix.com/">Free Porn</a>"

Second once Google or the other search engines craw your index page for the first level domain or sub domain(s) for the relevant relationships of words and or word phrases such will get indexed... The meta tags such being "Title" "description" and the "keywords" tags will get index first... If for some reason you do not have such then the incoming link(s) text is used as to indicate whats on the site being pointed to...

Now why in hell would you include a title in you hyperlink... your code above is the same as writing:

"<a href="http://www.0-dix.com/">Free Porn</a>"

Google listing:

Now what you are seeing is your meta tags in your title and not the above...

Porn » Free Porn - 2 visits - 11:11pm
English. Home. Search · New Links · Top Links · Popular Links · Suggest Link · Suggest Category. Thursday, November 8, 2007. free porn Advanced Search ...
www.0-dix.com/ - 18k - Cached - Similar pages - Note this

Now where is the >> listed in your example...

"<a title="porn" href="http://www.0-dix.com/">Free Porn</a>"

not the same as:

"<a href="http://www.0-dix.com/">Porn >> Free Porn</a>"

However in your Title of your index page of your website listed shows:

----------------------

<head>
<title>Porn » Free Porn&nbsp;</title>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;charset=iso-8859-1" />
<base href="http://www.0-dix.com/" />
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://www.0-dix.com/templates/Ocean/css/style.css" />
<meta name="description" content="Free Porn" />
<meta name="keywords" content="free porn" />

</head>

----------------------

now you have a title in your index page... that the SEs are picking up...

Also you are not within the top 50 of the main SEs or directories...

Google needs at the very least 3 paragraphs of text... you could use your meta tag description as to give the SEs some info about your site... however there is always a problem of keyword density...

If you would like an easy fix... stop doing what you are... because it is not working... and get your meta tags done right... get some text on your site that describes your content... setup sub domains SEO them the same way...

1.) Keyword research ( check volume of search terms )
2 ) Pick out the terms with traffic
3.) Integrate such terms into your domain or sub domain(s) ( don't spam )
4.) Integrate your terms into your meta tags & make sure they match...
5.) Include text on your website(s) that describe your stuff... but make sure your keywords are found within your text on your site(s)
6.) Check your keyword density.
7.) Keep your out going links down (less then 100)
8.) Don't mess around with linking farms.
9.) follow Googles submission rules... they drive approx 72% of all the Internet traffic... make them your friend...

10.) Most important... Stop giving advice and start learning the basic...

I'm am not saying this to piss you off, but rather to help you...

I just love it when Balalsubturfyooj posts and shows how he knows squat about SEO... As much as nettrust is a "joke", he actually knows more than Balalsubturfyooj, probably has more SE traffic and probably makes more money... god I love this place..

Vick! 11-10-2007 03:18 PM

Anyone who believes PageRank prediction tools is simply zero in my list. :2 cents:

:1orglaugh the fact that you don't know why he used "title" in the hrefs says it all... oh.. that and you indicating he needs to get his meta tags done up "right"... Man are you ever a moron... :1orglaugh

beta-tester 11-10-2007 06:01 PM

meta tags are invented to describe content on site in short and give an excerpt what the site is all about, not to be used as spam.

Oh and yes they are very LIVE, especially description tag.

Cash 11-10-2007 06:59 PM

i second that! :thumbsup so true!

just a punk 11-11-2007 09:26 AM

Hmm... and how is it related to SEO?

Marshal 11-11-2007 09:54 AM

Balalsubturfyooj, what are you talking about? Description tag not being used for search results, due to its shortness, doesn't mean it's not being used for rankings. google is rather using 1st paragraph of text body in this case (or could be the last one, too often) :)

1) which keyword analyzer do you prefer, wordtracker or overture?
2) i've been compiling keyword lists for the last 2 years and probably know first 50 by heart. the keyword i'm trying to optimize is definitely in #5. :) anyway, have you ever heard of competition as another factor? :Oh crap
3) what do you mean by using word "integrate"? are you talking about using the keyword in html body, meta tags, or url?
4) ever heard of keyword weight? or keyword prominency?
5) it's impossible to be ranked for some keyword, unless it's found in the body. simple as that.
6) 5.7% kw density is within bounds for google.
7) do you see a PR leak somewhere? do you see excessive number of outbound links? do you even make difference between outbound links and internal links?
8) :) another google myth. want me to show you sites that have 1k+ outbound links on the main page and yet has some impressive SEO score?
9) where did you found 72%? less than 50% could be. yahoo is still #1 site according to it's traffic. anyway, if you ask me, personally, i prefer yahoo. 3-5x better convertion ratios with my sites (if anyone is doubting this, contact me on private to see the stats).
10. did you see me giving any advice in this thread? you are 100% right: stop giving advices and start learning the basics! :)

just to add a simple though, have you ever heard of google bounce? and i mean results bounce, not data center difference bounce.

Marshal 11-11-2007 03:14 PM

don't think i'm mad, because of the position in google. anyway, check out this thread: fucking-around-and-business-discussion/783729-google-crazy.html

looks like i'm not the only one experiencing this...
