I think it was season 3 or 4 where the staff (in answer to that very concern) started a scene off with Jack emerging from a restroom after a flushing sound was heard, and wiping his hands on a towel, if memory serves. :1orglaugh

He also started 2-or-so seasons ago (the one after the Chinese embassy incident) off by eating breakfast, didn't he?

...but, yeah - if you're only counting _ONE_ inaccuracy in that series, you're not looking hard enough.

Don't forget ... during an episode, you cut to and from parts of the show ... so, for 15 mins you may be watching the CTU section, and then cut back and you're watching Jack out in the field ... so in fact, during that time, because it's 'realtime' you wont see what he was doing. Ever.
