Welcome to Brazil
I took these pics this morning
http://www.nikki-network.com/gfy/kid1.JPG http://www.nikki-network.com/gfy/kid2.JPG donīt worry is not dead, but itīs a kid :( |
I know that feeling. Looks like he had a fun time last night
|
I was just there. Damn shame with all the street kids there.
Any time I ever go out with Dugmor and Jscott, I end up like that kid. |
The thing about people that sleep like that is, do they just walk until they can't walk no more and then just lay down? Or do they fall asleep while walking and drop on the spot? Most of them are glue sniffers, so maybe they pass out.
|
Is it dead?

Brazil should take care of their kids
|
i spent a year in brasil and this type of thing is common. there are tons and tons of kids on the streets. the parents can't afford them and make them go out and panhandle and steal and get whatever they can through sympathy. it is not uncommon to see children at street lights looking like they are going to cry in the hope that people give them money. the problem is when you do give them money, many of them are glue sniffers and take the money to go huffing. at least in the south where i was in curitiba there where many of these kids. at night when you are walking around, you could easily get accosted by a gang of 8-10 year olds in a pack and they'll strong arm mug you. it's crazy at times.

It's the sidewalk.... The pattern is designed to put you too sleep. (honest)

A lot of times the Federal Police will watch the kids rob you and then take their cut. It is pretty much the same for the big cities in Brasil. |
sounds like a scary place to visit

Brasil mirrors it's law and government after the U.S. They are just not so caring to hide the corruption though. It is a beautiful place to live and play if you know the dance. |
maybe hes still dreaming. "playing dead"

i traveled to 20+ cities in brasil over a year period almost. one of the most beautiful countries i have ever visited with some of the coolest and most awesome people i've ever met. curitiba is an amazing place. the architecture was amazing, so clean, well in the places i was anyhow, the food, a lot of the poverty there is hidden, but still exists. if i could just up and leave the u.s. right now, i would be living there. i would pick the language up again really fast and the women are some of the hottest chicks i've ever been with. |
I lived in Manaus for 6 months. I had the time of my life. Me is blonde, blue eyes 6'4. ..they loved me over there..
