If you live anywhere near an airport try the exchange kiosks there. Keep in mind the US$ is getting cheaper and cheaper, another thing to be thankful for, right mr.bush?

i use western union outlets
dont use banks ever shop around |
Myst, I use a ForEx broker. They guarantee they'll beat all 5 national banks with a minimum transfer of $10k. On exchanges of 100k+, i typically save a half cent which works out to a minimum savings between $500 - $1000. They have offices all over Canada too so it should be easy to find a regional branch to you.

Around me, the banks only do Canadian conversions and it's at their main branch.
I have had silly Germans send me Euros in the mail for memberships and clips. I found that travel agencies will convert it for you for a fee. I can't recall what it is now, but they do it. Call around. |
