It woiuldn't matter where you put the servers if nobody will give you connectivity. Some of the recent news suggests that the RIAA and MPAA are following some of the suggestions raised here. They are going after the connectivity providers and threatening their asses with copyright violations, and they are folding like cheap tents.

It's a good things to see, perhaps a little balance back in the universe.

I do not understand the public display of support for copyright violation. I spend too much of my time trying to protect our content from thieves as do many others here.

How anyone earning their bread from selling content can support theft of copyrighted materials is beyond me.

Not as easy as that. VERY few hosts want to host something like torrent sites, especially very large ones. Hosts are also very leery of taking on a client who just lost all their connectivity because of legal issues.

Normally, they would have gone to Sweden, but now that is starting to look like a less and less interesting place to run a torrent site from.
