I swear that unless I'm downloading a big file this shit seems no faster than dial up.

I used dial for years because I always worked with small files and most websites loaded just fine. But unless I'm looking at streaming video, which sucked big time on dialup, or downloading, this shit seems pathetic.

Are websites just slow to server pages or something?

I know GFY is slow, but this seems slow on plenty of other sites.

I liked them the best of my recent providers - try checking your download/upload speed

Not as bad as AT&T DSL. Fucking service got knocked down at around 3 PM. I went to take a piss, came back and no phone service or DSL. So now I am surfing using EvDO.
