I was trying to make a folder on my desktop with the name "aux" and a error message appeared not allowing me to, I am using windows me, can anyone here make a folder with the name "aux"?

No, several special file names are reserved by the system and cannot be used for files or folders. These are CON, AUX, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, PRN and NUL.
