[BIZ] Leasing a domain name - how?

let's say you want to lease a domain name from someone for a few $k's per month. But that person lives in another country and doesn't seem really trustwothy, you dont know him at all.

How would you proceed with it?

Is there a way to use Escrow for this? I doubt... :/

but its obvious that I wouldn't wire $5k to someone in advance, especially since he isnt desperate to lease that domain at all, I am the one who wants a deal, but still I am not that stupid to send $5k in advance and hope he lets me to do with his domain what I want for the next 30 days....

neither he would accept a payment after the month is gone.

Moniker.com has been actively supporting the adult industry and participating in our events for years now - they brought the live auction to the mainstream and adult domain businesses and can help with this and any other type of transaction if your other country partner is agreeable.

I would contact CEO Monte at: monte at Corp dot Moniker dot com

Good Luck.

I would say it's all about trust, you could escrow the money somehow, but in the end you should only do a deal with someone you are comfortable in the first place. Just my two cents ;-)
