Any good CMS systems out of the box?

Don't really have time to build something custom looking for something out of the box for some members area's. Anyone got any suggestions?

MAS if you have $ - aWiz if you're on a budget. both do the job, and the aWiz guys will do some customization for a low price.

Joomla +Gallery - if you want free.

Sounds like a cheapskate option but you could do a lot worse...... even with the paid options

Sitedepth has the most pathetic excuse for support I've ever seen.

The manual doesn't explain how to do anything, when you email to ask a question about something simple they take a week or longer to get back to you.
When I want to do something simple like say have a model's name appear next to her picture on the members main page, I'm told that the script doesn't support that and they'll have to custom code it for me.

I am literally 3 months behind right now on a project because I can't get these people to answer my emails or instant messages about the simplest little things.

Custom written is the only way to go.

Nothing "out of the box" is going to do exactly what you want, unless you want the most basic of features.

We've spent probably close to $10k on CMS' in the hopes one would do at least a majority of what we wanted, before we came to the conclusion, to just have one written for us.
