Video Of Shooting At Venezuela Club
Don't know if this has already been posted or not.
Pretty damn scary hearing those gunshots... :( https://youtube.com/watch?v=JJllk...g-in-venezuela Chaos on the dancefloor in Venezuela this weekend as a gunman opens fire at a packed Caracas dance party. Four people have been confirmed dead and five injured in the shooting incident, which occurred on Saturday night at Network Noise, an electronic event held at La Rinconada Terrace in Caracas, Venezuela. The shooting occurred at 1.30 a.m. at the beginning of Carl Cox?s set. A VJ videoing Cox?s set, who managed to capture the incident on video, described the event on the website VJ Forums: ?Last night, fifteen meters from me when Carl Cox started his show and ten minutes into it someone started to shoot everyone. It sounded like firecrackers. It was so fast I didn't think was a gun. Everybody started to run like crazy.? http://www.residentadvisor.net/news.aspx?id=8956 |

Since 1991, New York has seen a continuous fifteen-year trend of decreasing crime. Violent crime in the city has dropped by 75% in the last twelve years and the murder rate in 2005 was at its lowest level since 1963: there were 539 murders that year, for a murder rate of 6.58 per 100,000 people, compared to 2262 murders in 1990. Among the 182 U.S. cities with populations of more than 100,000, New York City ranked 136th in overall crime (with about the same crime rate as Boise, Idaho)! |

I nearly went to that party. A friend was gonna give me his ticket and in the end I couldnt go either. They identified some of the guys responsible for the shooting.Apparently they were trying to kill a guy from a rival gang.
Well thats what happens when the government is composed mainly of criminals (starting with president chavez.) and the military controls part of the drug trade. I fucking weep for my country everyday... |

That's why it is measured PER CAPITA. Per Capita measurement is used to compare populations of different sizes. The murder rate of Venezuela is 31.6 per 100,000 people. The murder rate of the US is 4 per 100,000 people. Get it? |
Dance! Dance!

You can't compare a whole contry of 300 millions with 30 millions.. You CAN compare the rate in a dangerous city like New Osama York with another dangerous city like Rio... but nevermind.. i assume you are stupid.. :1orglaugh |

a lot of dangerous countries like Brazil are not even in the list... and Brazil is among the top 10 most dangerous countries according to the United Nations.. Same as USA... don't post crap... |

I can compare a whole country of 300 million to a country of 30 million using per capita. That's how it is always done with stats about population. How do you think the UN compares stats between countries? Here's an explanation from the web: Quote:
Keep up the good work genius. :thumbsup |

Maybe this has something to do with the high murder rate in Venezuela:
8 injured after anti-Hugo Chavez march When the country is run by a tyrant he silences opposition by making them disappear. Venezuela is on it's way to being the next Cuba under Chavez and useful idiots like Sean Penn and Danny Glover are down there kissing the guys rotten communist ass. Maybe Sean Penn can sign up to Chavez's Che Guevera. :1orglaugh |

I've been at a rave In Canada where a stabbing / murder happened right beside me. I didn't even know anything happened untill I noticed their was blood everywhere... I never went to another rave again.
I think the majority of people in Canada don't really think this happens often. I'm saddened to hear that it happens anywhere in any country. |

NY and LA together can not match the murder rate in Tijuana. They have had more then 4k murders in 22 months. |
