Why have most Adult Webmaster Forums died?

AWI, Thinkreel, VideosBoard, Adult Solutions.. just to name a few.

I only see a few new threads/posts a day there. Those forums were so active in the past!

Why do you think most forums have almost died?

I think one of the reasons is that webmasters hardly talk about business anymore and most threads are bullshit, so they preffer to concentrate in work rather than visit a forum where they will find nothing important. I wonder why people hardly talk about business anymore in forums.

What do you think?

Sharing valuable information = more competition = less money :2 cents:

My guess is there are less newbies these days in the adult business asking questions... plus many people in the business have left for other ventures.

At one time, for most people seeking to earn money, adult was the first stop ... not anymore - these days, it's about content, adsense, domains, etc aimed towards the mainstream.

Adult is basically the last place many business people look these days - I often run into folks with adult domains, some getting decent levels of traffic, that choose parking over affiliate programs; some have no idea that adult affiliate programs even exist.
