The Republicans may be overspending big office warmongers... but...

At least they aren't spineless lying sacks of shit.

The democrats have proven to be useless in congress and the senate and have broken the promises they have made when they were elected to fix the problems this administration has made.

Frankly I would not be surprised if a Republican president is voted in by a clearer majority than Bush of 2000 (51%) due to the little democratic weasels mistakes.

Wait they came into office saying damn well they did not wish to bog the country down with impeachment hearings. How is that a lie?

I am referring to the constant war funding approvals and lack of withdrawal movements. Has nothing to do with todays news.

Well ya that is because they really do not have the balls, specially since so many american sheeple feel that by not sending money they are harming the troops directly.

When it comes to funding the war it is a fight they really can't win. If they vote for the funding they get attacked as not working to get us out of Iraq and helping the president. If they vote against funding they get attacked as hurting our troops. It's a tough road to walk.

The problem is they don't have enough votes to overcome a veto so they can't vote to force the president to pull us out because he will veto it and they can't overcome that veto. I think they are basically treading water until the next election and hoping for a democrat to win.

Kane: I understand that. But they should at the very least band up and vote no on every resolution and war spending bill. Cause a freeze and force the republicans to rethink.

They were voted in, I think the nonsheeple understand how things should work and they aren't at risk.

Which democratic candidate wants to pull out? From what I recall, the two front runners, Hillary and Obama, are for keeping a military presence there.

Here is from Obama's website "Obama has a plan to immediately begin withdrawing our troops engaged in combat operations at a pace of one or two brigades every month, to be completed by the end of next year."

From Hillary's website, "Well, the right strategy before the surge and post-escalation is the same: start bringing home America's troops now."

I would hope that eventually if they did that it would force the republican's the rethink. But I think all that would happen is the president and the republicans would go after them and be on TV every day explaining how the democrats are hurting our troops and how they don't care if terrorist attack us. Either way it would be ugly.
