Costa Rica Bash 2008: What do YOU want to see this year?
 

With this year's Costa Rica Bash 2008 (our third one!) we want to make it as good a show as we can, from both a business and a pleasure standpoint. With that in mind, we want your opinions on the following:

SEMINARS

What kind of seminars do you want to have? The first two years, we have had seminars on the following topics:

• Legal Advice
• Pros and Cons of Offshore Content
• Anything Goes Discussion Panel

While many people enjoyed them and in many cases actually learnt something, we want to mix it up this year. What do YOU want? Post in the thread or contact yours truly by ICQ (520468) or email varius AT manacr.com. If you are interested in being on a panel (a great chance to give your company some free exposure!), let me know as soon as possible.

EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES

We'd also like to offer some new activities for this year's Bash attendees. Here are some of the things guests have enjoyed in the past:

• Jungle ATV Tour
• Canopy Tour
• Surf Lessons
• Horseback Riding
• Ocean Cruise to Private Island

The biggest hits have been the Canopy Tour and Jungle ATV rides and they will remain on the list. As for the other activities, what do YOU want to do? Perhaps an afternoon with the Crocodile Man (watch him feed live crocs in front of you as you sail down the river!)? Sportfishing tours? How about some organized beach competitions, like Volleyball or Dodgeball?

Volleyball is a good idea too, but who knows how many people will play.

I second the boat cruise!! maybe with a stop on a small island and some snorkelling. Diving could be a lot of equipment & work so not as practical.

I like the dodgeball idea, probably cuz at Phoenix we couldnt' actually play. Have like dodgeball & also a volleyball net up.
Don't change the food menu cuz it was perfect!

also, the first upstairs mixer party last year seemed lacking. It was really loud and the place was pretty empty & nowhere to sit. Maybe have places to lounge & say hi to everyone.

i want to see a monkey. just one damn monkey! last time i never saw one cuz i was too ill to do the canopy tour that i was scheduled for. is the place where you help the baby sea turtles make it to the ocean before they get eaten near Jaco?

Yeah the first year it was happening, but last year I guess everyone was dead or out to their own dinners so it didn't pick up much and we are nixing it form this year's list.

I'd hate to see the waivers for diving here...last time I went webmaster diving I got lost under the Key West ocean filled with sharks and other creatures :disgust :1orglaugh

No ranges but there are lots of locals to shoot at.
