Should Companies that cater to the Adult Industry keep WEEKEND HOURS???........

Seems a lot of people in adult like to make their own hours vs. keeping 9-5hours....

...so, should companies that provide content, hosting, outsourcing work, etc... have help available on weekends and are they missing out on business by having the closed sign in the window?

(and yes I know it is monday)

you do what you have to do

sometimes its worth it, sometimes its not

depends how much it costs you to do it and how much your clients care

You do know today is Monday, right??

Absolutely.

In my experience, most of them do.... the ones that I do business with and need on the weekends anyway.

if you cater to the part time crowd, yes. if not, its not necissary

BuggyG 11-05-2007 02:39 PM

corvette 11-05-2007 02:39 PM

Um it is my business so I personally think I should be allowed to have days off. Though if I provided anything that needed actual support, say a third party script or something that would be criticle to the buyers. Then I feel yes one should at least have someone for support on the weekends if not all the time.

As for content providers, designers, etc well if I can not contact one on saturday odds are it is not crucial. Worst case is yes they may miss out on a purchase.

But "sig spot" wouldn't have answered your question.

I agree... it depends.

For stuff that should have 24/7 attention, it should be there.

For stuff that should be able to wait until Monday morning, there's a weekend.

Many aspects to whatever business someone might be hosting... and there's no need to go to extremes one way or the other: some parts can shut down while others are running on standby, waiting for something to happen, while others are moving forward at full-throttle 24/7.
