looking for attorney to sue zango.

I cannot use my current atorney becuase he has written a brief for them a few years ago, so that would be a conflict of interest. anyone know of a good attorney that I can contact to sue zango?

not joking here. we sent them that letter to be put on the exclusion list and we continue to get about 4k hits a day from them according to referral logs. time to collect on all these months of stolen joins.

You don't get it?

Exclusion list would mean people couldn't bid on your domains. It wouldn't stop anyone from buying traffic from Zango and sending it to you.

You need to terminate those affiliates buying zango traffic. There is nothing a lawyer can do with Zango that will stop it.

Those "rogue affiliates" can really do you in.

and besides theya re stealing joins from us and redirecting them to a dif sponsor. not even my site. thats what im sueing over.

Stop Zango from what? if you are getting 4k traffic from Zango, what is the legal basis to go after them? Just set up your servers to block the zango referer and you won't get traffic from them anymore. What is so difficult?

Can't help directly there, but here's a bump for the good cause. I myself am not affected as adult is not my primary source of revenue, but I do understand the urgency of situation and am happy to see someone having balls to stand up and fight it. they are stealing joins from my site by poping their own join page over my join page based on kaeyword searches. i am losing sales.

it is theft of service, fraud and conversion. those are 3 charges theya re guilty of, or soon will be.

I'm not a big fan of pimpdog's myself, but why would so many people nuke his thread in which he's asking for a pointer. If you have something to offer in regards to the original post, then post it, but why come here and nuke the thread with anti pimpgod posts. WTF???

I wish I could be of any decent assistance in the fight-against-zango movement, but even though I can't I'm still in favor of it and would like to see if it maybe could bring results.

I'm a little confused myself. You say you're getting 4K hits from Zango, but the problem is Zango popping other join pages over your own. Fair enough, that's theft and should be stopped. However, that 4K hits is not a measurment of Zango popping over your join form. How could it be? Zango isn't sending the traffic to you, remember, it's going to a different join page.

our referal logs show 4k hits per day AVG. that has 0 todo with how many joins they are stealing form us. the 2 are unrelated. i was just saying that we are getting traffic from ppl with zango on their computers further validating my point that we are being hit by zango. that along with the physical evidence/video proof of them poping their join page over ours.

I think if you can count that 4000 people who have it installed have visited you, there COULD be a potential loss to show.. Historical overall data would show that 1:xxx people who visit, join up. So there's where a dollar amount could be shown. I guess

ofcoarse there is a loss to show. we have proof our avg conversion ratio is 1:xxx and if they sent us 4k hits x 1 year or 2 years thats a shit load of joins. plus damages, plus fees, plus punitive damges if any plus whatever else we want to throw in there. we can get more than just damages

We're already on suing them for months now, the damn US courts are soooooooooo backed up though we are awaiting a court date still.

Our case is pretty simple, we have trademark on domains of ours they use in their bidding system which we have asked be removed multiple times before. They also, in a matter of speaking, told us 'fuck off you can't do anything to us as you guys are in costa rica'.

Hrm guess they never heard of companies with trademarks and incorporations in multiple countries
