Do you squeegee the shower?
After ten years of living in my house, and squeegeeing the shower daily (oh...and drying off the fixtures with a towel), my shower still looks brand new.
It takes an extra five minutes, and the shower NEVER needs to be cleaned with abrasives or chemicals. Anyone else go to this effort? Or am I just an anal-retentive fuck? |
Yes we do it everytime as well ;)
|
oh, that´s how you´re supposed to do it?!
|
Yeah, it works miracles. I decided to replace the whole shower setup, so I stopped squeegeeing for a few weeks and it looked like absolute shit by the time I removed the glass door/wall.
|
I squeegee the glass doors, but I don't go as far as drying everything with a towel.
|
No, I am too lazy :(
|
No, didn't know people did that. You're a bunch of Danny Tanners

used too, but we have a special spray now that applies silicone or sumtin; makes it a lot easier for the cleaning lady to keep it sparkly

and take that 5 minutes away from applying make-up or doing my hair??? Nuts!

LOL...so you'd rather spend 30 minutes every Saturday cleaning the shower? |

7 days x 5 minutes = 35 minutes a week cleaning shower. 1 day x 30 minutes = 30 minutes a week cleaning shower. lol |

Yeah yeah...throw math at me...but...the glass and marble look like crap six days a week...so HA! |
hmmm, good idea..
|
what the hell does 'squeegee' mean??
|
yes....everyone does too
|
I am way, way too lazy to do that. Shit, I was almost too lazy to even type a sentence about being too lazy to do it.
|
squueeeeeegie the glass is good, drying the fixtures seems anal... but the result is nice.
|
yes, and i agree that it does make everything look new. the marble and glass always look immaculate that way.

Everytime...4 years old and it's sparkling new!

I rent so....
nah. |
Um the answer would be no and no. It would be damn hard to squeegee a plastic shower curtain anyways. I just take it out each week and toss it in the washing machine in cold water. As for water spots on the metal, my water has very few minerals in it so I just do not seem to get water spots. I do however spray down the walls with water before I get out. Just in case any soap got on them.
