KAZAA royally fucked my browser. What do I do now?
 

Well I fucked up and installed kazaa on my laptop. Now all of a sudden, I cannot access ANY sites with htaccess. Say I want to check my stats and the box pops up to prompt me for mjy username and password. Now it doesn't even pop the box up anymore and it takes me straight to the "you are not authorized" page. This happens with EVERY site using htaccess right now.

I already uninstalled Kazaa and the browser still won't work right. Can anybody help?

did you install Kazaa lite?

uninstall kazaa
reset your IE security zones
intsall kazaa lite!

I couldn't find a link to kazaa lite so oh well.

but download and run ad-ware first, and make sure you get rid of all the spywear kazaa installed before installing it, or you will still get popups !! (particularly be sure you romove all instances of CYDOOR that ad-ware finds )
