I <3 New York

I will be honest, over the years I have had a few girlfriends that came from NYC, and they all tried to get me to come here. I never had an interest. There was nothing that sounded appealing about it to me. How wrong I was.

This place rocks, and I will return for sure.

Yeah... one of my fave places to visit. Think I listed it as my top US City to visit in another thread a month or so ago.

Wouldn't want to live there (unless there was another factor like a degree from Columbia), though.

Sosa 11-04-2007 07:18 PM

i hope to go back sometime and see more of the city then I did back in 2000. Good times

LiveDose 11-04-2007 07:25 PM

I was born and raised in NYC and wouldn't have wanted it any other way. So many good and crazy times during my youth... So many amazing experiences.

Yeah, it is pretty pricey, and I am not sure how much longer these horns will be honking, so I may wake up with a different attitude, but after my first few hours, it is quite enjoyable.

Not sure how anyone can stay under 300 lbs though. There is so much good food here.

candyflip 11-04-2007 07:36 PM

There's nothing on earth like coming out from the subway on a brisk fall NYC morning.

The average person living in NYC walks on the low end, 25 blocks per day.

exactly

but i'm glad i "got out"!

nyc great place to visit these days but i wouldn't want to live there - i love seeing friends and family but it's also great to leave and come home to l.a.!

spring and fall are the best times to be in the big apple ... winters and summers suck!

can't beat the variety of food though ... best place in the united states to eat!

...and seeing 3 hot girls per square foot in every direction you look. Depends on which subway you are exiting, of course.

plus, there's a always that 1 day that happens each year, when it's the first really nice day, and all the belly buttons come out to play.

Stop telling people how great NYC is, we dont want anymore Cali people on our coast.:winkwink: Best food hands down in in NYC, nothing even comes close(and if you know where to go not that expensive either) . Baddog if you feel real adventurous, try riding in manhatten, its such a rush. Actually that sounds like a good idea maybe ill ride to Adtech today instead of driving.

No worries, I would never move here, so I promise just to be a bump in the local economy.

As far as riding here, I already told goodgirl, at least twice, that I need to get back here with my Night Train. In fact, maybe you can help . . . is there somewhere around here that I can rent a bike for a day? I already got her thinking that might be a fun time.

MetaMan 11-05-2007 10:23 AM

Been once city was fucking amazing, it seems like you could live there your entire life and not even come close to doing everything.

this thread just makes me want to go back.

EZRhino 11-05-2007 12:38 PM

I know what you mean I will be there just before Christmas for some vacation time. Always a blast

shannmarie 11-05-2007 12:38 PM

Most of the guys I have dated always end up being from the East Coast. I guess I have a weakness for the the "Joisey", "Bwahhston", and "Loaahhng Island" accents. But then again, I live in LA. They coulda been actors.

Ahh, NY. I'd kill for BRGR right now.

dissipate 11-05-2007 12:56 PM

boston > nyc

then again, im probably biased :frenchman

uno 11-05-2007 01:39 PM

God damnit. I'm in Mexico for a little under 2 weeks and I'm already going through NYC withdrawls. This thread only makes it worse.

madfuck 11-05-2007 01:42 PM

i love NY, wish i could live out there...
maybe one day ")

Hell House Vic 11-05-2007 01:47 PM

grew up in NY and still can't get it out of my hart. I fucking hate LA.

Sid70 11-05-2007 02:57 PM

Boston is pretty cool... but if you try really hard, you can see it all inside a week.

New York'd take ya more like a month.
