Is there a way to mute just one, specific, site?
I gotta imagine there is.
Plugin, extension, whatever... I figured sooner or later, people would see the clearer side of reason, but it seems I was wrong in that assumption. Time to take action. |

Not looking to block a whole site, but rather to mute the audio produced by it. More specifically, I'd like to block any and all sounds emanating from the top banner spot on gfy.com. |

I know that some turn ads off all-together, but I'd rather avoid doing that, if at all possible. So, I'm thinking certainly there's some way to mute audio from the entirety of GFY, if not the top-banner spot alone. If someone's got the ka-nowledge, hook me up, please. :winkwink: |

If so, I'll use it as a last resort. Thanks, man. |

I don't know if there's an ad server on gfy.com so you might want to make it whatever version of the domain you use. |
Any more input on this before I walk down the path of disabling ads?

I use Flashblock to get rid of flash altogether and whitelist only those few sites where I'd actually like to see flash. Not sure if that's acceptable for you but it works fine for me :thumbsup
