I have a question for the Playboy content people ----->
 

who do i refer girls to who want to pose for Playboy? i'm not talking about Playmates - i know that's a longshot for any girl. But I definitely find girls who want to be do modeling for Playboy and would be good for newsstand special editions and the Cyber Girl thing. so who do I show these girls to with the inside track?

oh cool - i was emailing Dean back and forth yesterday. actually Marco knows a Playboy shooter who lives in his neighborhood but i forget his name.

Most of the time you don't submit the girl, but rather the photos you have already taken of the girl, specially for the Newsstand specials. The majority of the pix you see in them are submitted by the photogs who took them.

I don't recall the exact location, but, when I was doing a lot of work for Playboy, there was a sort of FAQ page on the main site with info on where to send pics of a girl and what you get for a referral, about $150 at the time, as I recall. Been years since I shot or wrote for Playboy though, so they've probably gone through a lot of site redesigns.

not true, there are only 14 photographers worldwide who shoot for the special issues, depending on where a girl lives her shoot is assigned to the photographer nearest her. Playboy does casting calls in big cities across North America for the special editions - pick a bunch of girls and then hand them over to the photogs.

the Cyber Girl thing is where they have more freelance photogs shooting.

you also have to keep in mind what she wants to do in playboy, there are like 50 different divisions, all run completely seprate from one another
