Can Anyone Prove That There Is Real Growth With Streamray Revshare? Stats Inside
O.k the month before last I had a huge chargeback on my streamray account and started the next month about $50 in the hole because of it. At the beginning of this month I had another chargeback from the same month. It totals over $1500 now which is $300 out of my pocket plus a big blow to my psychological faith in this program. I did have a long chat with a streamray rep but I also had a long chat with my cam girl I do business with and those chargebacks are all her chargebacks as well. Streamray said it was a stolen credit card but the cam girl I send traffic to says it was a fan club member who claims he was banned for no reason. I tend to believe streamray but that still doesn't explain why my sales are so low for the last two months when I continue to send new sign ups every day.
If I am getting a true lifetime revshare then I should see increased sales on a regular basis that should grow and be visible on a line graph. I made a similar thread on gfy but it was comparing sales to unique clicks and now I realize that doing a graph and tracking stats like that doesn't take into account the quality of the traffic I'm sending. I know see that tracking monthly earnings compared to free sign ups will be much more accurate and representative of how this sponsor converts. I'm not making this thread to talk bad about a particular sponsor my only motivation is to test this sponsor using mathematics which is the undeniable law of profits to see if I should stick with them over the coming years or if I should expand my list of cam sponsors. After the last few months I have decided that I'm only going to try and sen 100 new free sign ups a month to this sponsor until I can prove that my dollar per sign up ratio is going up over time. This is the breakdown of what I'm doing. I can calculate how much money I'm making per free sign up by dividing it by my profit each month. I do not calculate my bonuses each month I only take the amount shown as regular sales each month. Logic dictates that I should see higher profits each month as I will be getting the new sales from new sign ups each month plus the rebills and new sales from previous months. Of course not every month will have as great of a profit percentage as the previous month but there should be a steady rise in profit flow. There should absolutely be a higher dollar per sign up amount on each month as compared to the month from the previous year. The yearly dollar amount per sign up as compared to the same month of the previous year is an absolute. Even if you only send 1000 sign ups a year you will always see a higher profit margin than the previous year. If you don't then there is no doubt that you are being shaved or the program you are promoting just isn't keeping track of your sales. I will argue this point with anyone as the numbers don't lie. I will be posting a lot of stats here and graphs as well as a percentage that will compare each months sales to the previous years. I need to do this before I put to much faith in this sponsor. I'm actually already pushing traffic to several other cam sites. Here is a look at my actual stats for last month http://img130.imagevenue.com/loc202/..._123_202lo.JPG and here are my calculation for my profits to date date SU Profit profit/SU ratio Compared to last 8/2006 (1) $94.24 $94.24 9/2006 (2) $183.73 $91.86 10/2006 (9) $235.96 $26.21 11/2006 (208) $415.50 $1.99 12/2006 (342) $345.47 $1.01 1/2007 (342) $264.26 $0.77 2/2007 (254) $214.27 $0.84 3/2007 (283) $336.99 $1.19 4/2007 (232) $447.09 $1.92 5/2007 (297) $513.67 $1.72 6/2007 (301) $427.39 $1.41 7/2007 (188) $495.41 $2.63 8/2007 (141) $510.73 $3.62 9/2007 (115) $299.32 $2.60 10/2007 (118) $346.14 $2.93 This gives you a basic idea of what is going on. So far even with the up and down fluctuation of monthly earnings it still looks like my profit margin is going steadily up. I don't see the since in comparing anything to last year yet as it's obvious that they were not tracking it that way last year. This month will be the first month were I can do a comparison. I will make the graph at the end of this year. I welcome any comments in this thread so please feel free to reply |
50 views and no comments? There has to be some peeps with some better lifetime stats and some insight into streamrays conversion ratio

I never had any luck with them.
I've been building livejasmin customers though. |
To be honest your stats look alot like mine with them. Very little difference.

No drama, just curious what your results have been. |
As for Mike, sorry I skimmed through your post (I'm a little jet lagged) and my .02 is that the most important stat is earnings per visitor (unique obviously). Over time, as you suggested with revshare, this number should go up but - all other things being equal - it will likely level off at some point.
The key is, how long does it take before this number reaches it's peak? (Sorry should have pointed out, this leveling applies to revshare only - PPS the number will likely be relatively level pretty much from the beginning). Anyhow, it is a stat that you'll have to keep track of as most programs don't. And once you see that peak/leveling off then you can make a real decision about the quality of the program for your traffic. (As a footnote, this theory is why it is so annoying to hear webmasters harping on and on and on about conversion rates and who pays the most - it is completely meaningless. Sure conversion rates and payouts effect your EPV (earnings per visitor) but they are not the stats to be basing conclusions on!) |
