I saw the new Guns N Roses last year...they actually sounded ok, but nothing likethe old Guns (saw in 91.. awesome). Anyways they played like 2 new ones.. ouch.

I would not want to see GNR play now because I think it would tarnish the memory. But Axl Rose is 45-years-old, so why are people whining about his weight? How many 45-year-olds do you know who are alive and still look sexy feral cocaine thin like they did when they were 25?

I saw them a few times last year and Axl kicks as much ass as ever. He's singing on Sebastian Bach's new album which comes out in a couple weeks. who knows about the next GnR album tho..

Does anyone really expect guys in their mid-40's to look like this? Would you expect talent who looked perfect at 20 to look exactly the same that many years later?

Well, Slash looks kinda the same as he did 20 years ago.. not impossible. Steven Tyler and Joe Perry look the same too.

Watched a documentary on the who , Roger Daltery looks pretty close to how he did from 60's

I saw Axl last year. He wasn't bad at all. It sucked that it wasn't the real G 'n R, but he did actually put on a good performance.

He did start like 2 hours late though. While most concerts are over by 11-12 pm...he didn't even come on stage till about midnight and the show went on till past 2. Was a bit odd...especially after hearing he had cancelled the previous night. So the whole time we weren't even sure if he was going to show and wham 12:00 rolls around and they come on. Not what I normaly expect when going to a concert.

They were my favorite band back in High School. In fact they were the very first band I got into when i was about 13. In high school I was a big time headbanger and totally dressed the part. I even had the Jean jacket from the Paradise City video with all the rocker patches! I wore that religously.

Seen Velvet Revolver as a part of the Black Sabbath show 2 years ago and it wasn't that bad but still the best song they put on was "It's so easy" ..

Apetite for Destruction is still far the most ass kicking rock album of the 80's for me..:pimp
