fuck the keyboard
this fucking thing is always in my damn way... when will someone invent a cable that I can jack straight into the side of my head so that I can mentally project the keystrokes into the computer instead of using this prehistoric manual technology we call a keyboard?
|
agreed. i have a voice recognition program, but it pretty much sucks in day to day.

my main gripe is it's either the fuckin' keyboard or the mouse that's in my way constantly... one or the other has got to go. I'm tired of moving my hand that extra 4 inches every time I need to switch.... |
That kinda beats the purpose of all development tools made for designing web pages does'nt it? Matter a fact noooooooooo........
Think of the newbies that will bring in. |
A keyboard with a built in trackball in the vacinity of the space bar (maybe directly below it ?? built in the center of the wristrest ??), would be really kewl !!
And WIRELESS of course !! |
now that might work out nicely..... a keyboard with a trackball where the num pad normally is would be cool..... I could live with that...
anyone make such a thing? |
or better yet... how about a Lazyboy recliner with a trackball built into the right side armrest, just in front of the cupholder... a cooler built into the footrest, and a swinging keyboard platform from the left side....
see... now we're innovating here.... :winkwink: |

I have a friend that has a wireless keyboard with a trackball in the right hand corner so you can control it while gripping the keyboard from the side. I have to ask him what brand it is.

i have an extra vertabrae so my back is pretty fucked up. sitting in front of the desk/comp for hours is painful as hell. the notebook has freed me from "the desk" and "the chair". i've also gotten quite good at working my cursor with my touch pad which is great for my carpal tunnel bullshit. heehee. maybe you just need grandpa glasses. tri-focal time old man! |

Amp what is your experience using a touchpad for graphics ?? Am I gonna have to keep the Optimouse nearby still ?? |
i dig touchpads.... I think they kick ass.... I'm very comfortable using them, even for graphics.... but I have to say, the optical mouse is superior in precision to any touchpad for graphic work.

I do have a piggyback PS/2 connector(from an old laptop), so I can probably have the opti-mouse plugged in and ready to go close by ... |
My narrowminded view on things. :)

I have the same problem. You should ask this guy.
|
Yeah no shit...you think the keyboard gets in the way...try havin a fuckin poker strapped to you head.
Or better yet try blowin' thru a tube er sum shit... |
Am I the only person on a modular desk with monitors and swivel arms? all you need to do is buy the modular arms, I have some smaller ones, and more industrial arms for heavy monitors etc... i swing my monitors and keyboards wherever I want, they swing far and I can pull my monitor up to my face or push it back to the wall if I need to along with keyboards.

Should be one of them |
