Wow CCbill Sales up 15%+

I don't get impressed often but since we put turned our Geo IP targeted forms live a few days ago all sales are up 15+%. I guess delivering forms in the surfers own language and currency first really does make that much of a difference.

Well off to enjoy beautiful Arizona day so keep those sales coming

VERY nice Ron! :thumbsup

bellskids 11-03-2007 12:42 PM

sadly we have seen a decline in sales since the geo ipforms went live on our paysites. However our affiliate sales to other sites are performing noticeably better. Im hoping its just a quiet few days for our paysites :)

bellskids 11-03-2007 12:43 PM

also would it be possible to prefill some of the info on the join form such as location etc?might make it that little bit easier to close a sale.

jscott 11-03-2007 12:50 PM

great to hear that! :thumbsup

this week much better than last thats for sure, last week was my worst affiliate ccbill stats of the year

WiredGuy 11-03-2007 12:53 PM

Congrats, time for everyone to see sales go up ;)

IS that why checks are late.. Dont spend my money ron! lol

Its more likely because of the decline in the $US makes it cheaper for Europeans to buy memberships, by how much did it drop lately? around %15? there you go why

i agree, probably i big part of the cause of my personal drop

love to always see how ccbill is willing and wanting and doing things to improve their system :thumbsup

Good news for most, also, great you added the Direct EU payments lately..

But I would have one question - will you make available to fix the cc products prices in EUR? Right now we have to set them in dollars which ain't the best as far as we always fixed all of our products in EUR.

Good thing sales went back up. I was starting to wonder if Ron was throwing darts at a dartboard to determine the scrub for the day ;)

ianlester 11-03-2007 01:34 PM

ccbill has always paid me on time... the more you customize your pages the more customers are willing to shell out money

Rochard 11-03-2007 01:44 PM

Nice Ron!

Chichio 11-03-2007 01:47 PM

yep, I've noticed a difference. :thumbsup

Finike 11-03-2007 01:54 PM

I raised my membership fees and the sales increased since then.

PPjohn 11-03-2007 02:29 PM

I was just about to start a thread about our increased sales since CCBill added Geo IP targeted forms.

Love it! CCBill is still the best and always improving.

If you were just a little cuter I'd have sex with you!

Mutt 11-03-2007 07:28 PM

that's great - now you can reduce the processing fees by a percentage point or two :thumbsup

GT-Omar 11-03-2007 08:31 PM

First of all Ron. Let me congratulate you on a job well done. You guys aren't at the top of your game for no reason

I have been talking about this for a while now. So much so that I have felt like that guy in the middle of time square with a sandwich board over his chest screaming "the world is going to end" and have seen no implementation of this, by any of the major players.

PR DAVE asked is another thread:

Are you switching the language based just on IP alone or on a combination of IP and Browser language?
I highly recommend all of the programs to do a combination of all of the above. Not just because I'm in the translations business, but because it ONLY MAKES SENSE!

Another vote for specific pricing for different currencies. For example if $29.95 is converting to EUR20.30 a price point of EUR21.95 would convert just as well and generate significantly more revenue.
