No wonder it doesnt print! :1orglaugh:1orglaugh
Recently bought a Lexmark X502n and its kicking ass! Not the cheapest, but fast as fuck and the quality is amazing :thumbsup

My suggestion is to spend the extra money and get a laser printer. They cost more up front, but the cost of operating them is much less. Inkjets are very expensive to operate.

I have a Canon. I've had it for 5 years. I replace the toner cartridge like once a year.

I still think Epson rules printing, their colors are vibrant their inks last the longest and the resolution the finest available. I have an HP and a Lexmark and neither come close to the Epson Quality. My only gripe is the cost of inks for all color printers, its almost cheaper to throw away the printer and get a new one when they run out of ink ?:1orglaugh

Go to your local ink refill place and find the cheapest ink brands and see what they are compatitable with printer wise. Then buy that printer. Do not judge it from your original ink's though since they underfill new printer cartridges anyways.

I have found this the best way to go.

I suppose it depends on which make you buy,but my HP 3500n which cost around $850.00 when i got it in 2005, uses 4 color refills which cost $127.00 each. Thats $500 and the HP 3500n can now be purchased on sale now for $500.00 or less ????

I personally do not do laser I do inkjet. So for me it is all about refillable black ink's. I rarely use color. Yes you often get a few less printings out of some refills, but always more than the first brand new ink that comes with the printer.

Yes i understand, most of my printing is in color as proofs for my designs or layouts, so its hard on the color refills

I refuse to buy any more inkjets. The stupid print head always dries up and makes the stockpile of ink I have lying around worthless.

So I thought I would give inkjets another chance so I ended up buying one of those HP's with the replaceable print heads, and those things seem to last about as long as the ink cartridges! Such a rip off.

We just bought an HP 3600N colour laser for the office and the thing is amazing. It was on sale at the time though. Regular price is $700 canadian at Staples.

I wind up buying another printer because the ink is almost the same price..stupid ink is always drying up on me..I'd go for a laser

Klen 11-03-2007 01:11 PM

Well i thinking about buying black and white laser printer since i see one ink can handle 3000 pages which i enough for entire year.Should i buy cannon? They are cheapest.

Hp has good printers

My Epson died, and I made the mistake of buying an HP. Epson makes the best printers IMO.

Get a good laser printer, you won't regret it.

The next printer I'm purchasing is a laser printer.

Just can't see the point in doing so until I run out of the 3 rmeaining ink cartridges that I have.
