This site is very sticky. I think the numbers would be considerably better but my server is, well lets just say it's not quick :winkwink:

Site currently has over 10,000 videos in the DB.
The tube script makes it very easy to add videos, and I have all of them in text files so the buyer will only need to send me his link codes for all the sponsors and I will transfer EVERY VIDEO to his code.

The tube script is sortie's tube cgi. I'm not sure if he charges a transfer fee for the license but if he does, I will cover that on my end.

It's also worth noting that the videos are all leeched from the hosted galleries. None of the vids are served from the site server so bandwidth is minimal with this site.

I know this site isn't worth a fortune. I'm just looking to sell it off for a fair price. Reason for selling is simple. Design work just taking over ALL my time. No need to have these side projects distracting me. I may have a few more similar sites to unload after this.

and AGAIN, this is a legit tube site. The vids are short gallery clips. Take a minute to surf the site, you'll see there is a hard sell on every video page that leads to the sponsor the video is from. it's that simple.

Looks more like the software is pretty abusive to the server... that first page appears to be a real DB killer.

Well, it is on an $8 a month virtual account that my design portfolio is on. I just threw it up to see if it would work and it took off with little effort.

I'm sure it would perform much better on a proper box.

The script doesn't use a DB, so your theory is off by a mile.

I already thought about that and therefore do not use SQL.

This script is fast. His server has 212 other websites on it.

Exactly, this server is not meant for this. The script runs flawlessly. The backend features lots of tools to customize the site. It's really the reason the site could even be sold. The admin makes it very simple to swap refcodes to the buyer.

This script also features a handy tool to setup a blog post template. Here is a sample blog I started to setup. Basically just copy the code off the video page into your blog and you're done. This sample blog isn't a finished product by any stretch, but you can see the individual posts that are automatically created. Pretty cool feature IMHO.

and for everyone else, his main concern was about 2257 links. This script has a field for that and all the videos on the site have appropriate 2257 links associated with them. I just have them set not to display atm. Since the site is fully template driven, it's as easy as adding one line of code to the video template and the 2257 links will be on every video page automatically, and they will certainly be there for whoever buys the site.
