And besides: Jimmy Wales has clearly stated that he doesn't want to sell it - hell he even doesn't want to allow advertisements on the website.

Seriously, is he doing alright though? Wasn't he asking for donations to keep the site alive some time ago? I see donation ads up now on wiki. It's such a great resource.
