Windows xp default cpu temp monitor
 

Not looking for speed fan or nothing like my girlfriends computer is running xp and it has a cpu temp monitor. Tried google and could not find anything maybe a different version of xp. Please someone point me in the right direction of this download or version of xp. THANKS :thumbsup

I use coretemp(use the beta version, that one is accurate) or use thermal analysis tool from intell(add 6-8 degrees for your core temp)

Are you saying the temp monitor is included and it's not a third party app? Where does it show?

I cannot remember where it showed. I remember I was helping her fix her dsl modem and I seen it . So im thinking maybe the control panel , device manager , or task manager ... it was a while ago but i remember seeing it .... im thinking it was a different version of xp .... but im pretty sure it was default or an add on ...

Why not just use speedfan? I have a yahoo widget that keeps all its stats on my desktop, works nice.
