I agree firefox can be a memory hog and I did notice it with my Windows laptop. I don't notice it as much with my Mac G5

I really dislike most extensions, but the ones that make my life almost usable again with FF are:

I added a few to my existing ones from the list but I had to uninstall a few because FF slowed down my late 2005 mini mac.

A description of what each does would help. :D

PDF Download - gives an option to view or download a PDF in Fox and overrides a problem with .pdf's

iMacros for Firefox - basically a browser automator.

SearchStatus - Displays PR and Alexa rank (with search options)

Session Fix - option to save open tabs at next brower session- saves time

Screen grab! - As it says.

MeasureIt - measures width/height in pixels - more designer stuff.

User Agent Switcher - what it says

I'll try anything that improves performance. FireFox has been acting up lately, freezing sometimes when I load a new site :(
