We just got back and man did my son get a TON !!!

My husband just e-mailed me to say some of the candy was melted and he has to go buy more. Yeah, right. At this rate we'll run out before any trick or treaters even show up.

I won't even be around for much of tonight... so I just bought a bunch of candy at Target, and a throw-away bowl... put it on the porch.

Maybe people will be too scared to let their kids take candy unless someone hands it to them, but I have no real alternative.

I went to costco and bought the normal sized candy boxes again like I do each year. Knowing past years I figured 10-20 kids. So I bought 2 boxes of Reeses peanut butter cups. One regular and one white chocolate. Each kid got 2 of each. I still will have left overs but the few kids on my street never ever give me shit or problems.

I hope he had fun.

Actually got back and none were taken :( Spent a good forty dollars at Target for nothing... that could have been more beer!

I'm new to this complex, so I wasn't sure if people took their kids around or not... seems like a friendly place, and I always see kids around... guess I know what to expect next year.

Our house is set so far back from the street, I have to set out luminary bags along the drive way to attract the candy monsters. It was extra fun this year, Roy dressed up like a scarecrow, sitting in a chair and scaring the bejesus outa the lil rug rats.

Lots of princesses this year and only one crossdresser.:1orglaugh
