I LOVE the U.S. Dollar, it just keeps getting better

I am so glad that the overvalued U.S. dollar has finally dropped to a reasonable level.
It's helping the U.S. economy to grow it's and increasing our exports.

If it continues to drop we might be able to eliminate our trade deficit (sans oil) and that would be great for America. :thumbsup

In a morbid way, it's actually good for US webmasters on this board. Most likely less competition.

In my real job, I am a hi tech consultant, and now only accept contracts with US companies that pay in CAN$.

They freaked for a bit.

But I got a call today and looks like I am going to Chicago next week.

Sadly there is very little to export and fat chance of a trade surplus - that have not happened in 40 years. Dream on :1orglaugh:thumbsup

LOL! I saw that. They like to repeat themselves so people have to be pretty dumb not to understand.

teomaxxx 03-12-2008 01:16 PM

so how you guys enjoy your devaluated dollar with barrel of oil for 110 bucks in the slowest season of year and with high food/commodity inflation?

Devaluated dollar help exporters for sure, but it squeeze average Joe aka rest of economy really hard....
Argument "devaluated dollar is good for US" gets some serious beatings nowadays...
