Anyone been to Cuba? looking for resort recommendations
 

I might be going to Cuba soon for a vacation and I am looking for recommendations of resorts to stay at. Yes I know Americans cant go to Cuba so this applies to everyone else.

That's where my wedding was.
It's close to downtown Veredero (7 minutes on a moped)
-Huge gounds, lots of restaurants, food was as good as cuban food gets.
-Disco
- 3 pools

And

-24 hour drinks

Thats where I stayed for my friends wedding. Great group of people working there. To bad they have to live in a commie country.

Tip the guy's at the lobby bar a $50 U.S. at the start of your trip and you won't wait in a lineup for the rest of your trip. They get pretty long for coffee in the mornings.

The country is so poor that if you have not been there it is hard to fathom.
Stay in varedro and at 4 star or higher Resort.

Not worth the few hundred $$ savings.

Again, I'm not American and that wont apply to me, they like Canadians LOL

Anyway.

I have been 5 times. I stay with family most of the time. but it all depends on what you want to do while there. If you want to be IN Havana, then STAY in havana. If you want the beach there are a few options.
