Will (or would) you vote for Bush in 2004?

Okay, so we all have differing opinions on Americans and their place in the world. Especially us non-Americans with our mouthy provocation.

However, the free exchange of political thought in this forum represents true democracy - not the democracy the Republican Administration is trying to sell their nation. Anyway, that point is moot in reference to the point of this thread.

Will you vote for George Bush as President in 2004?

No unless he gives me citizenship. You see, I want my freedom of speech, too :1orglaugh

rdunn404 09-19-2002 11:42 AM

Nope, I don't vote. But shouldn't the poll be "do you think Bush will be 'appointed' into the Presidency again?"

davvve 09-19-2002 11:45 AM

No, i wouldn't. But it's up to the american people to decide if they want Bush to stay.

Exactly.....George Dubya didn't actually get elected this time. There was the fiasco in Florida plus he lost the popular vote by several million to Gore.
But to answer your question....HELL NO
And take that moron Ashhahahahaha with you.:321GFY

Pornwolf 09-19-2002 12:01 PM

Of course not. Let's see what happens anyway.

DjSap 09-19-2002 12:09 PM

matty 09-19-2002 01:44 PM

I think he's doing a great job. Who would you rather have in office right now? A democrat? We are in the day of terrorism, i doubt the democratic party would take a war-like approach to all the bullshit that has been going on. We need to smoke these mother fuckers

Let's see.....
The stock market went under, major corporate ripoffs, many people unemployed or out of their retirement money, and a Where's Waldo hunt that switched from Bin Laden to Saddam all in the name of 'freedom'. And in under two years! Way to go Bush administration!

Like Bush said himself. Fool me once...............shame on.......uhhh.......

You worry about voting in Canada, and I'll worry about voting in the US.

You're right ... he'd probably be a pacifist, like that fucking Roosevelt and that fucking Truman and that fucking Johnson.

Moron.

You really think this country would be better off under Gore?

not sure about that, but i am sure the world would be better without Bush, who knows nothing but war.

FATPad 09-19-2002 04:54 PM

I can honestly say I don't think I would ever vote for a Democrat or a Republican again.

RedShoe 09-19-2002 05:01 PM

technically no one voted that fag into office in the first place.

Within 8 months of office he destroyed almost everything this nation had built up over the past 8 years.

Gawdamitey, but I hate even appearing to defend Bush, but I hate dumb even more.

1) He is a born-again bozo, so he is more likely homophobic than homo - besides, there is no reason to insult homosexuals by falsely labeling Bush as one.

2) Clinton's own economic advisor has admitted that they got lucky with the economy. This economic downturn was going to happen no matter who won the election, it started before the election was ever held, and is no more Bush's fault than it is Clintons.

Frankly, I don't think the country would be any better off, or any worse off, if Gore was President. Oh, the Republicans will tell you we'd be worse off, and the Democrats will tell you we'd be better off - but its bullshit. 9/11 would probably have happened anyway, we'd still have taken out Afghanistan in pursuit of bin Laden, and we'd still be going after Sadam. The words coming out of the White House would be a little different, the actions of the Sec. of State would be a little different, the bozos in the House and Senate would be reciting each other's lines, but when it was all said and done it would be ...

Same shit, different day.

Some one with some common sense...

No -- you can bullshit all you want but he was voted into office... the popular vote doesn't matter and you (hopefully) know it. If your buddy Gore wouldn't have fought the correct election results... there would've been no drama.

PornoDoggy 09-19-2002 05:48 PM

And, unless the Democrats nominate Jesse Jackson, I will vote for anybody BUT Bush. IMHO that puts Jerry Falwell and Pat Roberston way too close to the White House, it will retire Rev. Aschole to somewhere, and let the parolees from Enron working for Bush cook the books of a whole new generation of companies.

Jesse Jackson I'd have to think about.

i don't subscribe to the views of either party, since both parties have made the word "politician" synonymous with "prostitute". but review your facts man, most, if not all major wars were started under democrats.

The election of 2000 is one of the sorriest episodes in American history in years. You are right ... from the votes that were counted, Bush won. Of course, there were some ballots in republican counties designed to look like you were voting for Gore when in fact you were voting for Buchannan, and there were lots of folks who had voted for years who suddenly were no longer registered, had to produce three forms of ID, yada yada yada.

It's too bad that nobody but that flaming liberal ()not), Vincent Bugliosi (the guy who prosecuted Charles Manson, amongh other people) that Anton Scalia had two lawyer sons working for the Bush campaign. You ever heard of conflict of interest? And this supreme court's ruling was the most laughable piece of judical bullshit produced by a Supreme Court in years - that feeling is held by Constitutional scholars (sorry - Rush is not considered one of them) on both the left and right.

And since when did it somehow become illegal to FOLLOW the law by contesting election results? There is nothing either illegal or unethical in what Gore did.

Bush is the president; it's time to quit crying over spilt milk. But there is enough dirt to go around for both sides ...

What was that old proverb? A simple-minded statement deserves a simple-minded answer?

Sjayne 09-19-2002 06:06 PM

no but then if you so a search back to 'election time' you will see I didn't vote for him the first time around. Oh, don't get me started..even if sept 11 never happened I could bitch for days about him.

corvo 09-19-2002 06:12 PM

can't say, i live in australia.
but if politics in USA are simular to the way things work here.
there is no real differences between the two major parties in almost all policy areas and the kind of words they dress them up in, and it doesn't matter who you vote for at the end of the day. all i can say is america has sure as hell gotten their moneys' worth of entertainment out of the last two presidents :)

MarkTiarra 09-19-2002 08:00 PM

How are we supposed to answer that without knowing who he's running against?

I mean - opposition = Janet Reno... I vote Bush...

Opposition = Conan O'Brien... I vote Conan.

PornoDoggy 09-19-2002 08:03 PM

It would be grossly unfair of either party to put Conan O'Brien on the ticket for President. America has a long standing tradition of only allowing Amateur comedians to run for President.

s9ann0 09-19-2002 08:08 PM

i vote you shoot him for being a loser

ChrisH 09-19-2002 08:44 PM

Bush won the Electoral College get over it!

I voted for Gore, I got past it. You should too.

That's if your an American and your vote counts!!

As for 2004, long way to go. Lets see what happens :D

Pornwolf 09-19-2002 09:10 PM

I wish Harrison Ford would stop messin around and run for president like he should. He'd beat Bush 100:1!:1orglaugh
