Why not block new topics for those under 50 Posts - Limit Spam

all that would do is make new posters post like crazy for the first few hours so they do have 50 posts.
it doesn't actually change much

10 posts,wouldn't hurt much but would help on the drive by spammings..at least give us a chance to see what the person is about before we have to hear about their shitty program :2 cents:

Agreed. If the drive by spammers had to post 10, 20, 50 whatever...replies first then it would also boost the numbers on GFY.

Of course...This would keep a lot of them away in the first place or they might start spamming their shit in other people threads.

however... i think it would be a matter of minutes before they figured out that they can post their spam in newly created threads, as the second or third post and still get a lot views. This may make the problem worse.
