Hiding Domain Names and Sites on Servers

Is there a way that you can block people from viewing which domains are on a particular server? If i have some adult domains and sites as well as mainstream sites on the same dedicated server, can i separate the adult from the non adult so that when people do a whois search to see the domains on a server, they would only see the mainstream stuff only instead of all them and vice versa?

    Just curious to know.

Yes there is a way, just ask your system admin to set up another username and password and they will never see the other directories you have set up...

If you are truly paranoid, set up the adult and non-adult stuff on different IPs, and you could even go to the extreme of having different name servers for them.

You might also want to make sure that the whois info uses different infomation as well (including different email address and phone numbers) to assure that there is no connection. With the number of aboutus.com style websites, it is sometimes easy to see connections.
