Blizzard's Big Gaming Announcement?
 

Does anyone know what new title Blizzard announced at the Tokyo convention? I know it should be coming sometime today, and for some damn reason I can't get their main site to load.

I bet its to talk about their new ownership since Vivendi pulled an Enron and Worldcom over in France... Hey had to liquidate tons of non core businesses.

Blizzard. Non-core? Every time they've released a game it's been the number one seller for the year of release.

At 6:00PM EST they had 2 hours until the announcement.

I don't ask for much in life...

...but please let them announce StarCraft 2.

I bet they are farther along on their version of the EQ killer and will announce they are going into Beta for it....

didn't they already unoffically anounce sc2 as their next rts title?

They've held games back MONTHS after predicted release dates to make sure the game(s) are flawless - not many companies possess that kind of discipline. Everytime they put out a title, you just KNOW it'll be good.

SpeedoPanda - just becuase Blizzard releases great games that sell well doesn't mean that its a core business of its parent company Vivendi Universal. I was just messing around anyways. Thought it was funny when I read they had been misreporting earnings. That news was released right after the news of the MCI debacle.
